- Therapeutic camp designed for foster children and at-risk youth
- Goals are to help youth gain self-esteem while building relationship & leadership skills
Youth Empowerment & Leadership Conference (YELC)
- A yearly learning and development conference designed for youth grades 6-10
- Goal of the YELC is to empower youth with the tools and inspiration they need to step beyond their current circumstances to lead, succeed and thrive!
- Youth experience a day of interactive learning sessions provided by experienced adults who act as mentors to help guide them on their own personal journey
- For additional inspiration, the youth experience their peers showing off their many talents including musical, spoken word and dance performances
- Motivation to move also comes with an interactive fitness demonstration in the form of Zumba Fitness®, U-Jam Fitness™ and other fun ways to stay fit and be healthy!
- YELC helps youth to experience interactive learning learn to:
- Develop Self-Awareness
- Cultivate Self-Esteem
- Embrace Self-Expression
