Youth Empowerment Camp (RCS Annual Summer Camp)

Redwood Children's Services annual Youth Empowerment Camp is a therapeutic camp designed for foster children and at-risk youth. The week long camp creates bonds between foster children and the mentors that guide them. Camp provides our youth with the opportunity to practice and experience first-hand, the social, emotional and behavioral skills they have been working on.

The goal of RCS summer camp is for youth to gain self esteem while building relationship and leadership skills through a combination of team and individual challenges. Camp provides a framework to build strong, healthy relationships with others.

The environment created at camp is that of love, acceptance, and family, but above all fun. Over the years, camp has become more and more meaningful to youth, mentors and staff as a time to come together in one place, with one heart... for time to play and grow.
