RCS offers all full-time and 3/4 time employees a generous annual holiday benefit package. Employees will be eligible for holidays after 30 days of full time or 3/4 time service. RCS observes the following 11 holidays:

RCS offers paid time off to all full time and 3/4 time employees. Employees will start accruing PTO beginning their first date of full time or 3/4 time status and will be available to use after 90 days of employment. PTO accrual rates are based on the number of hours worked per week and exempt/non-exempt status (hourly or salary).
By participating in this plan, you may pay your portion of any qualifying insurance premiums on a pre-tax basis. Depending on your tax bracket, your tax savings could equal approximately 25%.
Things to know:
If you decide to terminate any coverage, it must meet the qualifying event criteria such as termination of coverage or reduction of under 30 hours. For more information please contact the Human Resource Department at (707) 467-2010 ext. 111.
All 40 hour per week employees pay 1/3 of their insurance & RCS pays 2/3; 30-39 hour a week employees’ pay 1/2 and RCS pays 1/2 of coverage. Coverage can be elected for entire families. This notice summarizes the provisions of various plan.
Medical insurance – RCS offers health insurance through Guardian Insurance Company for all full time and 3/4 time employees. Employees are eligible the first day of the month following 90-days after being hired full time or 3/4 time. The deductible reimbursement is administered by Northwest Plan Services and covers 80% of the annual deductible amount for in-network provider services.
Preventative care and regular office visits are covered at 100% with a $20 co-pay if in-network.
Dental Insurance – RCS offers full time and 3/4 time employees’ dental insurance through Guardian Dental Guard Preferred a Preferred Provider Program (PPO). This plan has a $50 per calendar year deductible and is available to cover spouses, children and full-time college students up to age 26. Annual maximum is $2500 for each covered person.
Basic Life Insurance – RCS provides $25,000 Basic Term Life coverage through Guardian for all full time & 3/4 time employees even if you have waived all other coverage. Your Basic Life coverage includes Accidental Death & Dismemberment coverage equal to one times the employee’s life benefits to a maximum of 25%.
Vision insurance – RCS provides vision insurance through Guardian’s Vision Service Providers (VSP) to all full time and 3/4 time employees’ and extends coverage to spouses, children & full time students. Vision insurance is paid 100% by RCS.
All RCS employees enrolled in Guardian Medical Insurance have additional coverage through Guardian called Optum Nurse Line Services. Nurse Line Services is a trusted source of information that lets you speak directly with an experienced registered nurse, any time 24 hours every day of the year. Simply call the number or visit the website for questions.
Full time and 3/4 time employees participating in one or more of Guardians group coverage receives employee assistance administered by Magellan Behavioral Health, a subsity of Magellan Health Services. Work-Life Matters is a confidential support service designed especially to help you with the issues that affect your life most such as: Counseling-telephone support guidance; Parenting-Planning, adoption, development; Care Giving-sickness, special needs, adult care; College-planning, testing, financial services; Relocation-tips, moving info, resources, schools; Non-Acute emotional, mental or behavioral problems such as anxiety, relationships, alcohol or drug problems.
Full time and 3/4 time employees who have worked with the agency for 1 year at the time of the elected open-enrollment date may elect to enroll in Health Care Flexible Spending Accounts and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts through our payroll company, ADP. A health care flexible spending account provides tax-exempt funds you can use to pay for eligible health care expenses that are not covered, or only partially covered, by your medical, dental and vision insurance plans. Uncovered expenses are co-payments, insurance differentials and over-the-counter medications. The annual maximum limit is $3,000.
RCS offers AFLAC supplemental benefits to all full time and 3/4 time employees. These benefits are 100% employee paid and pay the employee/policy holder cash at time of claim to cover lost pay and other expenses associated with an accident or illness. The following are a few of the available options: Accident, Personal Disability Income Protector, Cancer Indemnity Plan, Life Protector, Hospital Indemnity.
RCS is providing full-time & 3/4 time employees a path to building their retirement. Monthly contributions are deducted from your paycheck and deposited into a suitable investment. This plan is not matched and can be deducted pre-tax or after tax.
